2016. Why am I unable to represent
A dancer attempts to reach the height of the three dancers on a plinth of wet clay (re-performing a photograph I found when I was 28 of the 1928 production of Ode)

Action: To perform the height, scale and position of the three dancers in the photograph (an image from Ode, 1928) until an equivalent height, scale and position is reached. This absurd gesture is to be composed by up to two dancers with the intent of re-enactment. The gesture is to be one of interpretation and compromise, if not failure.
Duration: This piece will be performed at Art Athina (May 26-29) on the hour until the dancer is unable to perform the action.
